Xhey Butter Beauty products are made by Xhey and Michael. Cosmetic products are made by hand, from the land, combining ordinary ingredients with extraordinary benefits to create affordable products for people on the go.

Our Handmade Cosmetics

  • Michael—my pubby (partner and hubby) and Chef des Cheveaux—and I make all beauty products at Soul Sanctuary, situated on Occcaneechi,  Shakori, Cheraw,  Mánu: Yį Įsuwą (Catawba), Skarureh/Tuscarora, and Lumbee Land Land.

  • Our ingredients are sourced from locally and nationally distributed sources. The businesses we buy from are vetted for their mission, how they conduct business with those farming and processing materials, and their employment practices. We pay special attention to the ownership and operating of these businesses. Our primary supply of butters, oils, and powders is 3CayG. Our local supply is from Bombay Central.

    For safe traceable chemical formulations, bulk items, and niche ingredients, we also shop at Lotion Crafter, Ingredients to Die For, Costco and from independent sellers on Etsy. We occasionally make exceptions for Wal-Mart and Am*zon. The decision to purchase from these companies is purely due to our material financial reality. We also gotten some of our packaging from WholesaleSuppliesPlus.com.
